Abstract:As a new design concept, sharing architecture is becoming the driving force for the diversity of architectural creation and
a confuence of function. Sharing architecture encourages to share the urban resources and the public services, helping to
improve the living environment and social connection. It leads a sustainable lifestyle. The thesis focuses on the sharing
architecture concept, especially the new generation of the public housing (HDB) in Singapore. The study analyzes the
application of the sharing architecture concept in architecture and urban design, for instance, in the aspect of sharing senior
service facilities, sharing green space and sharing community center. At the same time, it analyzes how to realize the
concept of the sharing architecture through design and to promote the development of architectural typology. The sharing
architecture concept lead new lifestyles, and inspire the urban development in future.
