摘要本文以美国非营利组织(NPO)管运城市公共空间的3种主要模式——城市公园管委会(Urban Park
Conservancy,UPC)、商业改进区联合会(Business Improvement District,BID)以及公园之友团体(Friends
of the Park,FoP)为例,解析非营利组织在当代城市差异化公共空间管理运营中的特点与价值。论文简要介绍
BID、UPC、FoP3种主要的管运模式,并结合具体案例从经费筹措、职能及组织架构、可适用性及挑战3个层面
对这3种主要模式进行了深入的比较分析。
Abstract:This paper takes American urban public spaces run by three typical NPO : BID, UPC and FoP as examples to illustrate
how the diferent three NPO-run models act as the important supplements to the government-run model, improving the
comprehensive quality of public spaces and promoting the downtown revitalization of American cities.This paper gives a
brief introduction of the three typical NPO-run models, BID, UPC and FoP; and makes a deep comparative study among
the three models from investment , function and organization structure, application and challenges with specifc cases.
