Abstract:This paper introduces the urban knitting practice of L'Aquila in Italy, and analyzes the background and idea source of
its theme "Let's patch it", and interprets L'Aquila's knitting from the cross city cooperation of DIY, making on the street,
to the mild protest effect achieved, and the sustainable impact of the project on urban space. The characteristics and
positive influences in the city of this practice has been reflected.
