Abstract：This paper introduces the space of craft market on the Greenmarket Square in Cape Town, South Africa. Based on
Naadiya Moosajee's pedestrianization study, this paper analyzes its formation history, the influence of policies and regulations
on its informal space, the tourist and visited space and the surrounding traffic and pedestrian-friendly space, etc.,
and interprets the characteristics the craft market on Greenmarket Square in Cape Town, South Africa from an urban
design perspective and its positive impact.
