谢森山先生是
手绘电影广告牌的艺术家，
在二十世紀六七十年代电影剧照
都只是黑白照片时，
他就渐渐将电影广告
画出色彩的样式，
一直是文创艺术的国宝级人物，
持续在中原戏院
留下美丽的作品。

守护着传统，
让每个来到中原商圈夜市
经过的路人都能印象深刻。

空间

中源戏院
为设立于1981年的
二轮片老戏院，
不用一般广告印制的海报，
而坚持用耗时费力的
手绘广告牌，
保有特色的老戏源怀旧风，
成为了桃园这座城市里
停留在复古的风景。

FORM

Chungyuan Theater was established 
in 1981 as a second-round movie. 
Instead of posters printed 
by general movie advertisements, 
the theater insists on using time-consuming 
and laborious hand-painted signboards, 
and has been becoming a retro landscape 
in the city of Taoyuan.

SPACE

Mr. Xie Senshan, 
who is in his early seventies, 
is an artist of 
hand-painted movie signboards. 
When the film stills of the 1960s and 1970s 
were only black and white photos, 
he gradually painted 
the movie advertisement signboards 
in a colorful style, 
and became a national treasure of 
cultural and creative arts. 
The characters continue 
to leave beautiful works 
in Chungyuan Theater. 
The hand-painted movie signboard 
guards the tradition, 
so that every passerby 
who comes to the night market 
in the Chungyuan nightmarket district 
can be impressed.
