弥异所 094：香港怪兽大厦

形式

“怪兽大厦”是由五栋大楼紧密拼合而成的一座平面呈E 字形的巨厦，
建筑实体之间的两处U 形“光井”具有相当重要的采光与通风功能。
其中靠东一处空地相隔一条马路的南侧是一座高度更加夸张的大楼，
站在空地向上望去所看到的天空被四座高楼严丝合缝地框成长方形。

空间

站在三座数十层高的住宅楼围合起来的空地中央极力抬头向上望去，
密密麻麻的窗户与空调仿佛以不可抗拒的姿态粘接于建筑立面之上。
暗黑又神秘的气质使其成为《变形金刚》取景地并吸引了无数游客，
这个承载了无数人喜怒哀乐的地方给游客展现出另一个视角的香港

由鲗鱼涌港铁站A 口出站，
沿英皇道的太古方向前行，
步行大概 400 米即可到达。

FORM

The Monster Building is a giant building with an E-shaped plane
formed by five buildings closely joined together. 
Two U-shaped "lightwells" between the building entities
are used for significant lighting and ventilation requirements. 
On the south side of the road, there is amore dramatic building. 
Standing in the vacantlot, the sky you can see 
is framed in a square byfour tall buildings.

SPACE

Standing in the middle of the enclosed
space of three ten-story residential buildings,
the windows and air conditioners cling irresistibly to the building's facade. 
The dark and mysterious nature makes it a shooting location
for Transformers attracting numerous visitors.
This place is full of people's joys and sorrows,
and presents visitors with another perspective of Hong Kong.

Exit from Quarry Bay MTR Station at Exit A
and then walk along King's Road for 400m
