花莲星巴克是
以「货柜」概念作为素材，
邀请日本建筑大师
隈研吾设计，
透过大树开枝散叶的设计意象，
悬挑29个航遍全球各大港口的货柜。
空间
运用循环经济的概念
给予货柜新生命，
让游客品尝咖啡时有全新体验。
结构运用
中式斗拱力学基础，
迭加货柜空间。
交迭篓空处的大面积采光天窗，
让日光洒进室内，
营造自然光影，
相当唯美。

FORM
The only container Starbucks in Asia
is located in
Hualien's Ji'an Township, Hualien Bay.
Hualien Starbucks uses
the concept of "containers" as its material
and invited the Japanese architect
Kengo Kuma to design.
Through the design image of a tree
with branches and leaves,
it cantilevered 29 containers
that sail to major ports
around the world.
SPACE
Using the concept of circular economy
to give new life to the container,
allowing visitors to have a new experience
when tasting coffee.
The structure
uses Chinese-style bucket arch
mechanics to superimpose
the container space.
The large area of daylighting skylights
in the overlapping baskets
let daylight into the room,
creating natural light and shadow,
which is quite beautiful.
