MiYiSuo 177: Rock Climbing Wall in Waterfront of Xuhui District, Shanghai, China
董欣儿 / DONG Xineri
The brightly colored rock climbing wall
used as a special-shaped pier supports the pedestrian bridge.
The pedestrian bridge runs parallel to the river bank
across the skateboard plaza and the Long Museum.
Together with the dazzling orange tower crane,
they form a colorful riverside illustration.
In addition to the uneven rock walls of different styles,
there are other fitness facilities.
The holes under the bridge also provide the children the fun of hide and seek.
The soft air cushion provides safety protection.
People can walk on the bridge and look far away,
while under the bridge there is always a vigorous joyful scene going on.
This is a hot check-in place in Xuhui Binjiang Park.
Many citizens and tourists come to relax and work out a bit.
There are some professional rock climbing enthusiasts,
and children with parents around.
Most people just come to the riverside wandering and talking.
Skateboards shuttling, pets partying,
Children never stop playing.
It's nice to close your eyes,
just feel the cool river breeze,
and listen to the ceaseless laughter
that come close and far around you.
