MiYiSuo 239: Land of Wilderness, Lijiang, China
程培风 / CHENG Peifeng
The "Land of Wilderness" is a fairy tale park
built by the former folk singer and now architect Qiao Xiaodao
for his daughter.
There are 21 huts in the park,
and the building materials are mainly scrap.
The forms of the houses are unpredictable,
tree houses, clouds, slides.
These houses are usually a mix of various elements,
but the whole is coordinated and lovely.
The scale of the assembled huts is also designed
based on the height of the children.
These huts are scattered in the middle of the wasteland.
Although they were designed for children,
many grown-ups are attracted to visit and take photos.
Children shuttling in the huts,
adults taking pictures on the field,
the two groups occupy different spaces,
but all can have fun.
The Land of Wilderness is located in the Snow Mountain Art Town in Lijiang,
Yunnan Province, China.
