The Geometric Design of Cities based on Space Syntax
YANG Tao
Abstract:This article, based on the interaction between complex geometric configuration of spaces and socio-economic property, sought to investigate the potential of spatial geometries at the levels of continent, country, city, district and community, with an aim of optimizing spatial distribution of socio-economic activities. This could enhance the good relationship between people-centred urbanism and physical environment urbanism, and at the end could set up a method of designing urban geometry.
