大学校园边界空间特征及其存量更新观察 ——以四川大学望江校区为例

Characteristics of University Campus Boundary Space and Its Inventory Space Regeneration: A Case of Wangjiang Campus, Sichuan University

摘要 大学校园边界空间是介于校外的城市空间与大学校园之间的地带,特别指大学校园用地边界以内,可进行更新与再利用的存量空间。在超大城市创新引领和精细化管理的语境下,校园边界的存量空间更新应当发挥出更大的价值。除了“边缘空间”已被认知的各种抽象属性外,基于大学在城市中的作用及其与城市更新实务的关系,本文提出,校园边界空间应从强化其领域性、协同性、趣味性三大特征方面来进行更新设计。以四川大学望江校区为例,本文分析了校园边界以公共建筑及其环境为主的校园更新动态和存量空间特征。通过观察校园中3类不同的更新案例,分别从领域界定、校地协同、趣味叠合3个方面重点剖析了大学校园边界空间更新的可借鉴之处。案例表明校地之间不同方式的协同,对边界空间进行更新,实现了资源共享以及多方主体协同发展的多赢局面。

Abstract:University campus boundary space is a zone between off-campus urban space and university campus, especially within the boundary of university campus land, which can be regenerated and reutilized. Under the context of innovation and refinement management of megacities, the regeneration of inventory space at campus boundaries should contribute a greater value. In addition to the various abstract attributes that “boundary space” has been recognised, based on the role of universities in cities and their relationship with urban regenerated practises, this paper proposes that campus boundary space should be regenerated and designed from the aspects of strengthening its three characteristics of domain, synergy and interest. Taking Wangjiang Campus of Sichuan University as an example, this paper studies the characteristics of campus regeneration dynamics and inventory space dominated by public buildings. By observing three different regeneration cases, this paper analyzes the reference of university campus boundary space regeneration from three aspects: field definition, university-locality coordination and interest superposition. The case shows that there are different ways of coordination between the campus, regenerating the boundary space, realising the multi-win situation of resource sharing and the coordinated development of multiple subjects.
