Abstract：The project is located in Shilu Village, Dianjiang County, Chongqing. Through the introduction of a new business form –
home stay, the project will endow the countryside with new industries, activate the countryside, and form the urbanrural
linkage. The new building has absorbed the characteristics of local vernacular architecture, and has been translated
in a modern way to make it have both regional characteristics and meet the demands of current use. The design not only
respects the natural environment and agricultural ecology, but also uses the techniques of traditional Chinese gardens
for reference to build a community of nature, architecture and man.
