Abstract：Like the urban areas, the rural areas of China are also coping with an aging population. This project seeks to build a
rural home for the elderly that is suitable for the economy, climate, and living customs of rural Hunan. The project is
concerned with the lack of environmental beautification, flow organization, dining conditions, sanitary environment,
living quality, and social interaction in rural homes for the elderly. The design takes the three old camphor in the
courtyard as the core, reorganizes the traffic flow and organizes the productive and ornamental landscape. It also
improves the quality of the facilities in the rooms, focuses on the design of the public bathing and drying space, and
shapes the linear interaction space by widening the gable.
