Abstract:Urban migration significantly impacts developing countries, and it can stunt rural infrastructure development while
pushing urban infrastructure to the breaking point. Revolutionizing rural infrastructure development can safeguard
critical social values and cultural heritage. It can also ensure the next generation remains in rural communities because
there are opportunities within local villages to prosper and achieve economic success. Nzulezu was chosen as the
subject of this proposed intervention. There needs to be more innovation or expansion into other industries due to a need
for more resources and social infrastructure as more families share farmland and fish supplies decline. Tourism has also
become a source of income for some people in the village, including the local bar owners, producers of handicrafts, and
local tour guides. However, it benefits a small part of the Nzulezu population, while the intrusion of tourists impacts
everyone. The design aims to utilize a space that once served as a community center to create a hub that expands social
infrastructure, creates a space for entrepreneurial activities and educational opportunities, and enhances the managemeat
of tourism to creat economic benefits of all Nzulezu residents. By adhering to traditional construction philosophies
while incorporating modern twists and abiding by the cultural values of Nzulezu, a space has been created where both
locals and visitors alike can benefit from all the Nzulezu has to offer, and the local economy can grow.
