Abstract：The Happiness Forest Belt is an important green corridor in Xi’an and also the core of regional development. By taking
advantages of the historical development opportunity of urban renewal, this paper studies the characteristics of the region and
proposes strategies for urban renewal. Combined with the planning and design of the Happy Forest Belt, this paper proposes
the theory and method of regional urban renewal design, so it can be regarded as a reference in terms of significance. Finally,
it is pointed out that only by adhering to the ecological, sustainable, and three-dimensional development system, can the
renewal planning of the Happiness Forest Belt maintain its vitality and continuously progress in regional development.
