Abstract:As the core node of the gathering space in the new urban areas, the resource integration and social influence of the
large conference and exhibition building cluster are beyond doubt, and it is an important opportunity to display local
culture and technological progress. With the theme of “mountains and rivers”, Xiaohe International Convention and
Exhibition Center extracts the urban genes of “majestic Taihang Mountains, deep and rapid Yellow River, thousands of
valleys and rocks, Shanxi settlements”, and fully demonstrates the beauty of Shanxi from the planning structure to the
single building. At the same time, its design focuses on urban water green network, three-dimensional traffic, function
collection, green construction technology, and other contents, re-establishing the harmonious connotation relationship
of “city, nature, and architecture”.
