Abstract：In response to the current booming trend of rural construction in various regions, the author, as the design director of
Nalada, recently completed a cave dwelling renovation project in Lvliang, Shanxi Province. Through the explanation of
the design ideas, the author proposes the viewpoints, such as the need for a pre-design operational mindset in the design
process and the need to use the real market feedback as the evaluation standard for rural renovation projects, hoping to
provide a reference for similar renovation projects.
