Abstract:The Changping District Shokai LONG Street project serves as a case study of the transformation of urban stock assets
and community regeneration. Located in the Huitian area of Changping District, Beijing, the project innovatively
adopts a public-private partnership model to convert inefficient commercial buildings into a comprehensive living
space integrating commerce, industry, and public green spaces. The implementation of the project not only enhances
the economic vitality of the area but also strengthens the community’s cohesion by meeting the diverse living needs
of residents. This study analyzes the implementation process, effectiveness, and innovative experiences of the project,
discussing the significance of the transformation of stock assets in promoting urban sustainable development and
improving the quality of life for residents.
