Abstract:The Fanghuali Family Elderly Care Community Project in Fengtai District, Beijing, has transformed an abandoned
cinema into a comprehensive elderly care facility with 177 rooms and 293 beds through urban renewal. As a typical
case of urban renewal improving the quality of elderly care services, this project provides medical, nursing, and
recreational services, significantly enhancing the utilization efficiency of idle spaces, enriching the living scenarios for
the elderly and residents, and addressing the lack of public services in the area. Innovations include green construction,
professional service management, and community integration, setting a new benchmark for elderly care facilities.
