Abstract:Located in the core business district of Chaoyang District, Fuyuan was originally a closed and inefficient open space. By
removing fences, and adding ecological landscaping and art elements, the project has not only had a significant effect on
beautifying the urban environment but has also facilitated interactions between surrounding commercial activities and
the community. The project adopts an ecologically low-disturbance design strategy, preserving the existing vegetation
and introducing a diverse range of plant species and eco-friendly materials, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and
biodiversity. By encouraging public participation and building a multi-party cooperation mechanism, the renovation
of Fuyuan not only achieves community co-building and sharing but also significantly improves the quality of life for
residents, and effectively promotes further development of surrounding businesses and communities, thus enhancing
both the urban environment and community vitality.
