Abstract:The interrelation among humans, space, and time creates uncertainty. Urban design represents a human attempt to
predict and guide these uncertainties across spatial and temporal dimensions. Cosmos and human-focused are two
types of spatial thinking in humanity, while Heaven and Earth and Square and Circle are two major spatial revelations
on Earth. Valuable urban designs are those that draw inspiration from spatial thinking, embody cosmic order, adeptly
utilize geometrical concepts, and enhance freedom and joy. This paper proposes six formal rules: the Development
Rule, Spatial Rule, Characteristic Rule, Integration Rule, Competitive Cooperation Rule, and Ecological Rule. By
integrating all elements and guiding forms, constructing the city value system, the aim is to achieve a digital, urban, and
ecological community. These principles are then applied in many practical urban designs.
