Abstract:Guangzhou Baiyun Station Traffic Hub, as the first mega railway traffic hub project with integrated design and
construction in China, is designed based on the design concept of station-city integration from its own special functional
and urban positioning, and explores and concludes the design strategy of mega railway traffic hub based on stationcity
integration in the aspects of distinctive regional cultural characteristics shaping, appropriate station-city integration
according to local conditions, appropriate separation of station-city traffic, innovative inbound modes that suit the
needs, guiding spatial view of the Optical Valley, composite development, highly accessible, green and ecological
stitching, and elaborates the relevant design techniques in combination with design practice. It explores and summarises
the design strategy of the mega railway transport hub based on station-city integration in terms of highly accessible,
green and ecological sewing, and elaborates the relevant design techniques in combination with the design practice.
