Abstract:Taking Guangzhou Nansha New Area as a case study, this paper explores a multi-source data-driven diagnostic
framework for urban vitality in new area planning. It comprehensively outlines the methodological workflow and
implementation control mechanisms for precision planning through urban vitality diagnostics in new areas. By
summarizing diagnostic characteristics across spatial dimensions, the study clarifies the “Indicator Selection —
Diagnostic Analysis—Control Strategy” workflow for urban new areas, aiming to provide valuable reference for
precision planning practices in urban new areas.
